In this workshop, we explore what meditation is and its positive effects on mood, focus, the brain and more. We’ll dive into the common misconceptions of a sitting mindfulness practice; go over ways that practicing for just minutes a day can actually grow the parts of the brain that improve awareness, attention span, mood management, etc; and partake in a few different practices for you to take home and use to create a more well balanced sense of self.
