ART HEALS, weaves the healing powers of the Creative Arts Therapies, with aspects of Mental Health First Aid, which fosters building a sense of safety, trust, comfort and teaches you skills to reduce distress, introduces you to the tools to build resilience, needed to nurture your own mental health, during stressful situations, and life in general.

This Retreat is not a substitute for emergency Mental Health services.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING? Experience the weaving together of Creative Arts Therapy and Mental Health First Aid tools and practices through painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, doll making, multicultural and meditative arts, journaling, storytelling, psycho-education, inner exploration and SHARING....playful, yet at times intensely serious, both relaxing and restorative, all in a nurturing, supportive environment. We will share our art, our stories, our feelings, through a variety of media. You will leave with greater confidence and self-esteem, increased insight and self-awareness. new skills and tools for providing your Self emotional and creative self–care.
