Yoga for Recovery

This group is designed to support people in overcoming self-destructive and addictive behaviors. Research has shown mindfulness, yoga and meditative practices to be effective tools and have healing effects for folxs in recovery. These practices have been found to decrease mental health symptoms such anxiety, depression and trauma, while improving and resorting the nervous, endocrine and immune systems.

This group will empower you to access internal locus of control, connect with the natural world, and find discipline through ancient techniques. You’ll leave the end of group with your own home practice to support long-term impact.

In each group you can expect:

-A safe community to process/connect

-Psychoeducation

-A trauma-informed yoga practice

-A little more Vitality
